I enjoy using this Bible as I'm trying to learn Spanish. The side-by-side bilingual viewing is excellent. I challenge myself to read the Spanish verse first--especially of scriptures I don't know by heart--and then read the English to see how well I understood the Spanish. It's surprising how much I get correct and a good encouragement to keep learning Spanish. Rating: - Disappointed Translation
This bible looked so good on the outside....but apparently i did not adhere to the old adage. When i started looking for a bi-lingual bible i realized when I bought this one that I had to choose whether i wanted a bible that was the closest translation to the new king james version OR the more relaxed NIV translation but i soon realized that one can not have both and must choose. Rating: - Very Disappointing
So far I've read 50 of the books; 27 OT books; 1 Chronicles to Malachi and 23 NT books John to Jude, which although is not yet the whole Bible enough for me to advise anyone thinking of buying it to be wary. (I will update this review when I have completed the Bible - I've set myself the challenge of reading this Bible in a set time so I HAVE to finish! God willing.)

I am very pleased with this bible. I am fluent in both spanish and english and find both these language versions easy to understand. Sometimes I don't know what a word means in spanish (grew up in States) and the English version functions as a perfect translator (the translations are perfectly aligned so you can quickly switch). I have searched for these two translations everywhere! Very hard to find....I found it here at a very reasonable price. It arrived promptly and in good shape. I am very satisfied...my only regret is that they don't have the soft/leather bound bible in these translations.
